We have integrated the Skillshirtz as an integral part of the coach education. It is one of our most important tasks to introduce the trainees to the widest possible range of training tools. In this case, we particularly liked the fact that important elements of the game of football can be integrated into everyday training as a matter of course. Putting on a bib, playing football and automatically being challenged to orientate yourself more... further coaching is not necessary for the time being! A very good training tool for young players and adults.
Training with SKILLSHIRTZ® was enjoyable because it was so varied. The constant need for awareness and the pressure to make quick decisions makes it very intense. Because of the many variations I used both feet and worked on my two-footedness.
You only have to watch the best players, how often they orient themselves, in order to know exactly what they have to do. Training with SKILLSHIRTZ® isn’t only enjoyable, but it also trains exactly that. You’re put into stressful situations and can’t lose your head. This is not only good for my game, but also for that of my teammates.
In the progression from youth to professional, for me above all, the speed of execution was a big issue. Everything happens much faster and you have to already know what you want to do before you even receive the ball. The training of orientation and quick decision-making is important to succeed at the top. SKILLSHIRTZ® are a good, game relevant way to improve these areas.
